  • A luxurious difference, the silky modal/cotton blended yarn provides you with a super-soft feel.
  • Modal comes from sustainably harvested beech trees, which are a renewable cellulosic plant. It is biodegradable and eco-friendly because of its natural content. The beechwood cellulose is mashed into a liquid, turned into a fiber, and woven into a fabric.
  • Because modal material is made from Beechwood pulp, its natural properties allow breathability, so sweat and moisture are quickly released and not trapped next to the skin.
  • Combined with cotton, it is considered semi-synthetic because of the raw material. Cellulose is a natural material. Modal is classified as a bio-based textile.
  • Modal is 50% more resistant to shrinkage than cotton, so they keep their shape.
  • Modal fabric is 50% more absorbent than cotton, so moisture is absorbed into the fabric.

Great comfort and fit

The fit runs true to size and is very comfortable to wear. I'm optimistic, after a couple of washings, that it performs as well as my other body helix products, which is excellent!!
